Sacraments of Initiation


Baptism

Baptismal prep classes are conducted by Dr. Mark Nimo, Director of Faith Formation. Baptisms are only celebrated after the families arrange a meeting with Dr. Nimo to determine the length of the prep classes and who needs to be included in those classes (parents, guardians, god parents). If you were baptized at St. Columbanus Church and are interested in receiving documentation, contact the Parish Office at (773) 224-1022. You can also request your sacramental records by sending an email to info@StMosesParish.org. Be sure to include your full name, date of birth, and the date you received the sacrament.

Confirmation

Confirmation prep classes are conducted by Dr. Mark Nimo, Director of Faith Formation. Confirmations are only celebrated after participation in our Religious Education classes that begin every year in September. First Communion (Eucharist)

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.)

Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.) classes are conducted by Dr. Mark Nimo, Director of Faith Formation. Sacraments of Healing


Penance

Not only does it [the Sacrament of Penance] free us from our sins but it also challenges us to have the same kind of compassion and forgiveness for those who sin against us. Anointing of the Sick
